I heard some good things about the new band. For a Casino it is pretty cool, lots of natural and Native American touches you would not expect. The first set had a strong country flavor to it and then wham! Brown Eyed Women to end the set. They really raised the energy level. Out of the three shows I saw on this tour Phil was the LOUDEST this second set. China Cat was played out and then into a great UJB. The Mountains was awesome with a long jam and then like a thousand points of light the Terrapin Inspiration verse.Unbelievable! The tempo was extremly fast with Phil driving it all the way, the audience screaming the harmonies, then Phil explodes with St. Stephen, a minor lyrical flub had us all laughing and then another surprise, a sweet unsung Stella Blue with Larry playing the pedal steel. With the audience again singing the chorus which was great. Sugaree was rocking and then another suprise to end the set I Know You Rider, which was the song of the tour, and they raged on it. NFA rocked us out and we all smiling, Jerry's sprit was in the hall during this set as they featured most of his songs. The cooliest thing was once you exited the arena there was a 2 story high Native Americian mural and everyone was screaming, howling and clapping it was amazing and the energy was great. You can only wonder what the folks at the slots thought, we obviously struck the jack pot. This shows deserves to have a DSB put out there.

This show was amazing. As we watched it bagan to build and build. The first set was great. The second was amazing.Begining with chinacat and ending with rider. Moutains>terr was one of sickest things I have ever heard. I was so blessed to be at it...not to mention I live less then 5 minutes away.
